It was time to start this project. I'm now working on the bodywork and I'm very happy with my last purchase; the masking tape 2mm!
With this masking tape I can form angles perfectly and it changes my life.

The painting is progressing well, but there is still a lot of work to be done!

I'll keep you posted.
Thanks for looking

Hi Spannerman,

Thank you ! Honestly, you can't imagine how much I hate working on Lexan bodies. It takes ages to align the tiny 2mm masking tape, get it at the right schape and ensure that it is well sticked on the body because if not flaws will appear.
And you'll see later on that i made a big mistake on the rear lights.
As long it is my body set it's my problem, but in case it's someone's else it's another story.
You can still drop me a PM if you want ;)

This weekend I found a little time to continue this bodywork. I started to paint the parts in grey on the engine hood after masking them.

After that, it's time to paint the black parts under the front turn signals. At first I didn't want to do them because this part seemed too difficult to mask. But I took up the challenge anyway and I must admit that everything went well, much better than expected.

And here the final result after taking off the masking tape.
