I started working on the rear lights and started masking them.
And beware...either my lack of concentration or overexcitement led me to make a beginner's mistake, and the worst part is that the manual was by my side. I painted the brake lights orange! Well I have no choice but to let the paint dry and then try to remove it. I can't wait for this paint to dry and then try to remove it. I'll keep you posted Manotas Proud owner of the Bruiser Family

Well, same player's still playing...
I managed to remove the paint. I put the new tape to mask the contours and repainted the tail lights as required. I painted the taillights on the inside, there is no mention in the manual about that, I let my interpretation free. Well there is a place left free in the manual but... Once everything is dry, I started to place the tape to mask the parts that will not be painted. Wisdom says to paint the light colours first, but it is easier for me to do the opposite. So I covered the parts that need to be painted white. Proud owner of the Bruiser Family

Well, I don't know why, but some pictures got lost, sorry.
The paint work has progressed well on this Porsche and I managed to finish the drivers and the bodywork. I absolutely wanted to have a Rothmans version and not a "Racing" version. As the original Rothmans decals are sold at a high price on the internet I decided to order some from MCI. So I cut the Rothmans stickers from the MCI board and used the original ones for the rest. The result isn't so bad. Nevertheless there are some details that bother me but unfortunately I'll have to live with it. I think that my inexperience in Lexan painting is visible. Maybe I should have tackled a simpler body... Anyway Proud owner of the Bruiser Family

Okay, that being said about the body, it's time to tackle the chassis.
As you can see on the pictures this one is in near new condition. So I'm not going to dismantle it but just install the electronics. The MSC was missing... so I ordered one from E-Bay. This one's in good shape, just a little dirty. So I'm gonna have to take it apart and clean it. This is the condition it was in when I received it. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for looking Proud owner of the Bruiser Family
