Woohoo nice work on this countach. Is the aerial hole original? If yes leave it. If no, fill it.

Its not original as such, the body comes with no hole but 2 options. There was apparently a mark to make the hole where it is now, which lines up with the stock tube mount on the chassis. Or there is a plastic mount you could stick to the rear wing for some strange reason. Every one that was built back in the day had to have one of those two holes made.

Thanks for the info. You have a third option used on vintage rc. You can roll the wire on a lexan rectangular sheet wich is glued with tape on chassis. And no aerial.

Yeah, i did that on my 40th 934. I plan to fit a 2.4ghz rx in the old futaba rx case so aerial is even less of an issue. Its a 40 year old rc car though, cant help but feel they should have aerials. As long as i decide before i prime it, i can repair it properly if needed. Ill sleep on it, but im inclined to leave the hole. It will however be mostly a display model... Im probably 75/25 in favour of aerial.
