Hi Ponz,
Welcome to TamiyaBase! What you have is a so called Tamiya Group C model (the real cars ran in a class called Group C) The model should have a black electric motor installed, not necessarily the one pictured on the outside of the box. It would help with pictures of the actual model, but in general you will need a battery to power the electric motor. The battery must be charged, so you need a charger as well. The motor speed must be controlled, and it could be through a Mechanical Speed Controller (MSC) or an ESC (Electronic Speed Controller). In addition you will need radio gear (transmitter, receiver, servo(s)) But, we need pictures of the model to help you more. Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. Here's the pics guys!
I took a pic at the controller, the battery and what it should me (at least in my mind ahaha) the battery charger. The fact is I'm trying to switch on the battery charger (connecting it to the electric power) but it seems it doesn't work. So I don't know if the battery is still rechargeable or pretty much badword up 😅 Any help? Thanks!! |
