Here are all the parts I’ve had to buy.So yes Flo it will soon be back on its wheels. New ones!!!!
There’s also the new body shell, but to be fair, that’s not bad in terms of parts I’ve had to buy to finish a restoration. I think this has been pretty good in terms of cost so far. Sorry just to add, I did also buy an original rear bumper and the toughened steel UJ’s. I just went back through this thread and just for clarity I have bought a few other bits and bob’s. All in the name of originality !!!??? Attachments:

Looking really good Al. Getting the urge to take up my search for a second hand SRB chassis for a Sand Scorcher body kit I have stashed away.
Broke the clutch linkage on my LeMans GT yesterday and limped her home. Within minutes I was ordering hard to find parts to fix it. LOL Guess the SRB will wait a bit.....

As I know a couple of things are going to hold me up, I wanted to get as much put together as possible. Wheels and tyres. Speed controller fitted. I’ll be interested to try this out, it seems quite technical compared to a lot of the other MSC’s. I gave this plastic gear cover a gentle polish with Novus. So the main thing to tackle is the front end. I need to drill out a knackered screw. I need to get the correct drill bits first and everything in my tool boxes are DIY ones. Attachments:
