Hi,

I thought, I make a new topic for the Porsche 959 and the Toyota Celica Gr. B

This topic is for the Porsche 959.

Unfortunately, it's not in a perfect condition. The chassis is like new, never used and never had oil in dampers. So this one is in good condition.

Unfortunately, the lexan body seems to be extremly weak. The back has already two holes in it and it feels like it would crack everywhere, when you touch it.... Probably, this was a proble of this body? Or is it just this one?

I am a little bit down because of that. This car is in a such perfect condition, but the materials seems to got weak... And I am also a little bit worried, how I could pack this to avoid any further damages during transport.....

This body was produced via blow molding and is notorious for being very thin and weak.  You should not feel bad about the condition of your copy at all.  In fact, I think it is in the best condition I have ever seen except for a 959 body new in the package.  Beautiful model!
