30 seconds in I realised I wasn't going to have the patience to watch a single angle of three Hosers for 90 minutes ;)

Hey! I am planted right in the middle of Ontario, in the land of lakes and rocks ( good for crawling) and currently blood sucking insects and rain....lots of rain.... I am guessing based on your licence plates that you are in beautiful British Columbia somewhere.....:)
I should check but I don't think I ever wrote an introduction on Tamiyabase and my old one on TC is way out of date so....... Time for a new one :woohoo:

"Hosers" or not, I learn stuff every day from watching YT-vids about RC. Even though this video is too much nostalgia-talk for me, can't relate to much of it but the Sand Scorcher, my focus is on the driving abilities of these vehicles. I love my SRB because it is so hard to drive, and I love my XV-01 because it behaves like a real car. These days you won't find a well scaled realistic looking car in the hobby shops except for the re-res, it's all just scifi looking / power-tool specs/ purpose orientated plastic stuff that runs at 80 kmh. I'm so happy there're guys my generation who appreciate the art of scale model running, not simply for the speed but for the road properties and specific character.
