A video of some vintage racing 12 years 2 months ago #5969

Just remembered this when I put up my runner Rough Rider for sale ( HERE )

This is a video from 2008 where we had good fun competing together with the Norwegian National Championship racers. We were in the Retro category and were only competing for fun.

You can see my Rough Rider bouncing all over the track, but still managing the "Wall of Death" quite good. (in spite being airborne at least once...)

Here is the video: vimeo.com/1698551

Is there any trick to downloading the video?
My computer is too slow to watch real time...
Looks like a cool track. :cheer:

Is there any trick to downloading the video?

Sorry, not that I know of...
If you leave it on "Pause" for a while, it will load in the player, then you should be able to see when pressing "Play" again.

Edou - look for a freeware program called Orbit Downloader - it's handy for grabbing 'protected' video from places like Youtube etc (Haven't tried it on this vid, but it was prompting to download so I guess it would do it). Only downside to it is it'll save the files as .flv (Flash), so you'll probably need something like Free Videos Manager to convert it to something playable.
Lars - That track is fantastic! Just wish my garden was big enough to do something like that with it. How did the SRB fare with the rough stuff? - I seem to remember them being a bit "fally aparty" & "catchy firey" when giving them any abuse (Ah the days of grubscrews & servo tape...)

Thanks eddrick, I have Download Helper installed on Firefox but that only works on YouTube so far.
Converting a video file is not a problem. Pazera has all kinds of freeware for this.
I'll give Orbit a try. :)
