Same, but more and more I have some doubts...
And it is the same when I see some rc cars sold with a buy immediate and no offer possibility at incredible cost, not even NIB or in proper state... And unfortunately, until there is some people ready to pay, there would be people to think their broken rc cars is worth a fortune... :(

The "Empty Box" prices get me shaking my head.....  "Vintage Tamiya [insert name here], excellent condition, vary rare.....  Box only"  $200

Have you seen the eBay scalper prices (450 to 625 GBP ?!) for the 45th anniversary Porsche 934?

Even retail prices (275 to 310 GBP, and compare & contrast what we got for the 10th anniversary) seem like a shameless cash in :(

Just add "limited edition", make sure there is more demand than what you produce, and that it is happening for sure. It happens as well for the blockhead motorsport Wild One (which is with a 58 number, and we all know what it means).

I was more (or at least equally) appalled by the nature of the product as the price - like the 1990s Ford Escort "Mexico" special edition :S

I guess it won't fit a M06 chassis with a 225 mm wheelbase :-D

This is the most I’ve seen someone asking for the 45th anniversary 934.
I’d expect it delivered before the big day for that kind of money.
Plus I think there’s a second run in the new year !!!
