The Boomerang chassis is the first evolution from the Hotshot chassis. The gearbox parts are the same, but the suspension and main chassis has been redesigned. The suspension is still double wishbone in all four corners, shaft driven 4WD, but the chassis is now open and much more serviceable. The Boomerand was reissued in 2008 and 2017 with only minor changes to the chassis.
