Based on the TRF416WE, the formidable TRF416X competed and recorded numerous wins at events such as the European Championships, DHI CUP, LRP Touring Car Masters, and other big races throughout Europe during the 2009 season. Not only did the TRF416X use higher performance motors and batteries for better power output, but improvements to the design of the chassis and its layout improved overall performance, reliability, and durability. The chassis' new design sees it come equipped with 2.25mm thick lower and 2mm thick upper carbon decks as well as new designed front and rear low bulkheads, motor mount, central bulkhead, motor mount support, and rear belt.
