Since its release in 1999, Wild Willy 2 has been a Tamiya favourite thanks to its unique running and design. The Wild Willy 2 chassis features a gear box neatly secured in a monocoque frame. Side support bars have been added to the frame to heighten the overall rigidity and enhance Willy's "stunt vehicle" realism. The gearbox comes pre-assembled, allowing the user to easily remove it for maintenance, without taking apart the frame. The running battery is positioned lengthwise toward the rear of the chassis, providing the ideal balance for outstanding wheelie action. The steering servo is mounted centrally on the chassis and holds two steering tie rods of equal length, which control the left/right steering, ensuring reliable handling. Four wheel independent suspension and oversize tires enable high traction and stability. This updated stylish version of the Wild Willy 2 features all the popular characteristics of the original, combined with chrome metallic parts for a more eye-catching appearance. A comical look The large headlight equipped front grille and realistically reproduced body is made of reinforced ABS resin. The detailed cockpit features a driver figure, steering wheel, gearshift, fire extinguisher, all crisply recreated. Needless to say, Wild Willy 2 is ready to perform dynamic wheelies at your every whim. The rear of this vehicle is equipped with a "Wheelie Bar" made of resilient nylon. The wheel on the end of the bar functions as a balance and reduces friction during wheelie running. The spring equipped front bumper and the roll bar with metal core protects the vehicle in the event of collision. The various markings have been included as stickers.
