The Nissan R91CP is the seventh Group C chassis based model was release about 8 months after the previous one (58102 Mazda 787B).  Again a racing machine from the Group C racing series was replicated by Tamiya to create a stunning but quite rare model.

The model came with blue A-parts, clear polycarbonate body and unique wheels.

The R91CP was reissued in 2012 as a limited release assembly kit (84264)
