That looks to me as a bargain!
It seems to be in all original condition, so I would vote for keeping it original.
If you want a runner I would add ball bearings, and consider dual front shocks. The mono shock in front really isn't as good as two independant ones.

cheers lars i agree i have a hotshot and also a thundershot that are mono upfront and they all seem a little too soft. think i may just keep it original as i always loved these buggies as a kid. dont know why really as the shells are not that pretty compared to the boomerang etc. always a pleasure to use your site thanks for the super sabre manual will come in very handy im sure. :) took a look at your super sabre now that is a real work of art very cool B)
