Sometimes if you wait long enough the parts you need will turn up, sometimes it’s just pure luck.
So I’d just bought an original Tyrell P34 at Christmas. One of the parts missing was the catch pin set.
Any way as you can see above I managed to find a nip set.
The other part is from the Porsche 935 body set. I’d picked up a Big Series model body set a year or two ago. This is one of the few bits that were missing.
Happy days to have some parts that complete a kit.

This cool little 1/14 Lighting Hawk showed up today! It can run simply on 4 AA batteries, or you can us an M-size LF1100. This model was only available as factory built with radio gear included/installed. This particular purchase came with an extra body and decals for it's brother, the 1/14 Aero Avante. Since I have one of those as a NIB kit to build, I think I'll paint this extra body up as an Aero Avante Black edition. There's even wheel adapters included to fit M Chassis wheels/tires. And, finally a reason to fit a 370 Sport or Torque Tuned motor into something, lol.

A few days ago I got the Super Sabre decals and also two for the scale garage secret projects.
Yesterday I got new tire replacement for the ones that bust on the 6x6 build...

These tires are crazy. Can't wait to see the truck in the snow.

This basket case arrived today. I have pretty cool plans for a light runner Got a great deal on it - guy had no idea what he had!

 


Side note: Why the heck can't I find a full set of 1/12 tires for these things?!? If anyone has combos willing to sell, let me know.
Looking for RM-01 51483 - Fronts and 51484 Rears (and/or) 54334 Fronts and 54335 Rears

I can get 54335 rears all day long, but can't find the fronts
The wheels are also stupid cheap and plentiful, but no good without tires, lol.
I'm gonna try boiling these puppies off the wheels and see if they are at least salvageable in the meantime.
