Hi everyone, I am hoping that someone might be able to help me. I would like to know what model Tamiya rc this would be. I was a bonus in a bulk buy of other tamiya rc cars and I would like to restore it but it is hard not knowing what it is. Any information greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.Justin

The bumpers and basic layout look similar to the Wild dagger but I am no expert. it also looks very similar to a TL-01 chassis but bumpers are different. The bumper looks similar to the TL-01b. I may have narrowed it down to just a few.
I'm sure some of the peeps with more knowledge will pop in and help out. Lee Regards

TL01-B chassis (tamiyabase.com/...1b-chassis) or one of the HBX/Haiboxing clones?

That's a HBX Bonzer Cross Tiger chassis.
The angled reinforcement rod on the rear body post is a give away. I bet the chassis screws are black and the gears are brown /pop off one of the propeller covers at the end should show if it has brown gears. All these signs are telling it is a HBX. Also the 550 motor with extra magnests on the outside is only used on the HBX. Tamiya sold the moulds of the TL01 to HBX (Haiboxing), that's why it is so similar to the real one. I have several of these. |

It seems to have one piece arms. Those might be either a HBX option or fitted to the late Bonzer trucks. I have never seen those either before. My parts bin consist of at least 3 of those Bonzer trucks in parts, and all had the same design like the TL01B arms, i.e two piece for each arm. |

I've never heard of a HBX Bonzer. Just looked it up. Not a bad looking car.
Is a TT-02 any good? I have the chance of one brand new in kit. No body wheels tyres or electronics £60 is that a good price? Regards

Yes the tt02 is a multi purpose chassis. A little better than the tt01.
