I got a set of Wild Willy II wheels and tyres which I plan to use on this.
...using these adaptors. I will need to drill the hole out in the centre, but then they should hopefully clamp onto the axle. I will need to drill out the rear wheels too. Front wheels fit the axles with standard bearings but will need spacers as the axles are far too long. |

The white body has been cut, presumably to clear the wheels. Plan is to use this body as a runner and the blue body for the shelf.
My son wants to try his hand at painting, so I will let him loose (with supervision) on the white shell. This one can be "his". The blue shell I will strip and paint myself. |

Crikey bodies have seen the life, have you got a clean window set? I assume you have an interior for you driver to sit? looking forward to your build
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate

No and no I'm afraid I'll try and strip the window and see what happens. There's an interior on ebay, but it's in Oz and expensive. Might try and make one. |

Why are they so vulnerable across the back of the body? I've a couple like that on eBay recently too.

I suppose lack of rear bumper and a weak point above the wheel arches.
I plan to add some reinforcement. |
