The 959 chassis was a clean start from Tamiya. The chassis was developed as a competition chassis, in 1/12 scale. The chassis has all the bells and wistles; independent suspension, oil dampers with reservoirs, diffs and the powerful motor. The big weakness of the chassis are the lower a-arms of the suspension. They break easily and ar now nearly impossible to find as replacements.
