Jonny,
If you can use "studio shots" like the ones of the models in the database, I can have a look at home and find some for you.

Like these:

...
...
I know, they are all very blue...

Blue is ok ... it makes a difference from white ;) I'd definitely like to see a Superchamp in this calendar (assuming you've got a 7 megapixel+ original), otherwise I guess pick out & email me half a dozen of your favourites & I'll pick out a couple to go in the calendar :)

This is the layout so far:

Cover: Edou stealth thingy - to me, this shot sums up what I think Tamiyabase is about - Tamiya, pushed further.

January: My mk.1 Scorcher + extras:

February: Larbut's B2B Sidecar -this one just grabbed me for some reason, even though it is really obscure...

March: Nothing so far :(

April: my vintage & re-hash Sand Rovers ... I like the concept behind the shot (and showing off the extra work I did on the re-hash), but the pic is not really interesting enough & I'm quite happy for this one to get pushed out

May: my Bruiser; again I'm happy for this to get pushed out when/if something better comes along.

June: Gingerspice's Scorcher; could get moved to a different spring/early summer slot, but I would like to include it.

And the rest of the year:

July: Larbut's SRB Family:

August: zephyrin's Wild One:

September: Edou's Stealth Thingie again - really captures an end of summer feel:

October: My Bigwig. Just filler really, quite happy for this to get pushed aside

November: My Fox, I think this is my 2nd choice out of my pics, but still it could be sacrificed:

December: My Brat in some snow + "cut out & keep" / MYO small scale kit boxes (these won't be blank on the calendar

I definitely vote for the Fox to stay in. Looking awesome. :)
And calling on all the members to send in their pics!

This is a good short description of Sinterklaas. It's celebrated early (5th of) December.
He's supposed to come from Madrid in a boat (never understood how) and rides a white horse over the rooftops.
His politically incorrect helpers going down chimneys to bring presents to the kids.
They get told that if they're bad, Sinterklaas will put them in a bag and take 'em to Spain. Nice...

I've edited the "layout" posts rather than creating new ones, changes are:

- larbut's Super Champ has been dropped in favour of a 4-way SRB family, combining larbut's Super Champ, Ranger, Sand Scorcher & Rough Rider

- I've "improved" my December pic ... I decided "Black Pete" was probably a step too far

- added a "Nothing!" placeholder for blank months

We desperately need two more suitable images - from different members - to have a calendar at all, and preferably six to have one anyone would want to buy ...

I also would like to credit the model and user that contributed each pic, perhaps along with a few words describing the subject; for example the "credit" on my garage pic would be:

Tamiya 58016 Sand Scorcher Mk.1 (1979)
Scratchbuilt fake engine
Many hours spent building tools
Lost much cash on sales
- Jonny Retro, UK

or, for Edou's Stealth buggy

Tamiya 58100 Top Force Custom
Low slung black buggy
Looks so cool in sunset
Ongoing Hop-ups
- Edou, Netherlands

Haiku optional :D

One for December:

Sadly no Black Petes
Political correctness
Such a crock of _ _ _ _

I like this idea. Makes the calendar more interesting to look at.
