Waterbok's Top Force Evo photo wasn't up to par technically, but the orange crawler fills in March's gap, and the red one boots out my brat for December:

Cover: Edou stealth thingy - to me, this shot sums up what I think Tamiyabase is about - Tamiya, pushed further.

January: My mk.1 Scorcher + extras:

February: Larbut's B2B Sidecar -this one just grabbed me for some reason, even though it is really obscure...

March: Waterbok's Toyota Land Cruiser 40:

April: my vintage & re-hash Sand Rovers ... I like the concept behind the shot (and showing off the extra work I did on the re-hash), but the pic is not really interesting enough & I'm quite happy for this one to get pushed out

May: my Bruiser; again I'm happy for this to get pushed out when/if something better comes along.

June: Gingerspice's Scorcher; could get moved to a different spring/early summer slot, but I would like to include it.

July: Larbut's SRB Family:

August: zephyrin's Wild One:

September: Edou's Stealth Thingie again - really captures an end of summer feel:

October: 4-way of THE H.P FREAK's cars:

November: My Fox, I think this is my 2nd choice out of my pics, but still it could be sacrificed:

December: Waterbok's 58405 Toyota Land Cruiser 40:

HP's 4-way is I think of high enough sharpness to go in even if there aren't higher resolution versions, so I'm going to bump my Bigwig out of the running order :)

had another try with my TF evo...

WB - I did look at the extra pics you sent me, but they do have a few problems:

- dappled shade is very distracting, there was only one shot where it wasn't a problem;

- the "one hand on the TX, one on the camera" technique means the background is in focus, the car is blurred (I know, I've done it myself);

- I'm trying juggle a lot of conflicting requirements here - not least of which is not having any one user over-represented (I know I have four, but I fully expect to "lose" two of them to contributions from louisbaby) - accepting an indifferent (in my view) shot of your TF would mean losing your excellent beach shot

I really like how the calendar pictures are turning out!
My goal would be to have as many members as possible represented, but still within the quality restrictions highlighted by Jonny.
Is LB aware we are waiting for his contribution ? :-)

Yeah, thought they were not up to the standard, car is just to fast. :whistle:
Will give it go for next years edition and wait till my Japanese friends visits, he made the shots of the Sandscorcher. :cheer:

You really would prefer the shabby snowcrawler picture to the beached one? :dry:
