I know that Zéphirin, I burned a lot of leds and I have some résistors at home.
I made "autonome" power source with a CR2032 out of a main PC card. light and efficient Under 3V dc.

im designing a board for the switch that has a pot for volatge and a resistor in parallel to lower amps
leds are like $2 for 20
it sucks that you blew them aswell i have to take all of mine out now and they were hot glued in but the glue is cheap so it holds when it is meant to but is easy to take off

finished the motor mount so now i can run it WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
pros:

• fast but not over the top so manageable
• gopro mount as a roof with hero 3 with wifi so i can do fpv
• handles great
• perfect gearing and motor
• looks cool
• its mine

cons

• no grip on the tires
• only one battery so i can only have 1 run then i have to charge

the velcro you see in some pics is for the battery during testing. if i get the normal shell i.e the small plastic one, it will be the permanent one but i will have to figure out a stronger way to mount it
