I still have my old Tamiya 7.2v "wall wart" mains charger and 12V clockwork fast charger, but I am thinking I need a new charger for the modern NiMH batteries in my burgeoning collection of RC cars.
This one looks good. It will charge the 7.2v battery packs, plus my Futaba Tx and will run off both mains and 12V. Seems like a good all-rounder and not too expensive. What do you guys think? Also, are my old chargers worth anything to collectors? |

Looks decent for that price.
Not sure you can charge a Tx with it though... And tbh, a "general" trickle after charging doesn't sound quite right - NiMHs don't really like that. I think the old chargers'll probably be worth only a few bucks. Most popular charger when it comes to price and possibilities seems to be the Imax B6. Just beware of imitation on eBay. If they're "too cheap", then they're probably fake. |

Looks to be an updated piranha which was a good charger.
As for your old ones if eBay UK is having the free to list deal like the US I'd list 'em for a couple |

It would be quite silly if he didn't know. Hopefully it's not bluff tactics at that price.
If you're considering this charger, I'd go for the AC/DC version. Hobbyking has it in the UK warehouse at $43. They even sell genuine and copy as referred to in the title. |

Assuming you're in the UK...
I knew there was something tricky with the Hobbyking page - it needs a power supply (around $10 I think). And you'd wanna make sure it matches with the electrical socket in your country... |
