Mailman brought this Escort today. Its on the TL01 chassis. Nothing special about this one but I like the body. Seller also included a bunch of brand new extras, 2 batteries, 2 3003 servos and a receiver. Electronics from the RJ Speed car will populate this one.

Hello again, its been a few weeks. Not been in the mood for anything and work is quiet so no funds to buy parts. Anyway, not done anything with rc's, 3d printer has a problem so isnt working at the moment so feeling a bit down in the dumps.  A couple of weeks ago I had a nice gift from my Stepson for Fathers day which was a total surprise and cheered me up a bit. Even though its a bit early I was told I had to use it and not wait for Fathers Day.
He sent me an FTX Outback mini Landrover to have a crawl around the garden with. Its quite capable for a 1/24 scale.  



I had another surprise last week from the Wife.  I had been looking at some models on JK-RC for a long time, I get my Tamiya spares off them as they are cheap and postage is included but they also sell the odd model or chassis.. Anyway my wife went online and ordered the car and some Lunchbox tyres for me as a surprise. 

The car is a Spital 12 well actually 2 of them, one complete and the other a but worse for wear but fixable i think. Got a few spares with it some partial decals and an unused driver which I need to reproduce some how.  
 

I checked out JR's Spital resto a while back so I have some reference and tips to go off.  Probably wont run them much at all but they are different and thats why I like them. 

I have got a bit of enthusiasm back and have been sorting out the bits I have to build a 1/10 crawler. I have the parts to hopefully fix the printer and i've been crawling around the garden with the Landrover. Still got no work, I blew the works bike up. Not totally but it was making a horrible knocking sound. Looking at next week now so hoping to get some repairs done with what I got for the moment.
