Welcome essemmay, and you're one lucky man to have an Original RR in your parents' loft!
I'd love to have one in my collection, but will have to settle for a Re-Re when finances permit.

From what I've seen, you can't go wrong with a Lunchbox - especially when there are several running together.
There are 3 running at my local track, and after seeing them, and having a drive - I want one!
Not the fastest (apart from the 6.5T BL one ) or best handling cars around, but they're so much fun!
Which I believe is the most important factor - FUN.
After all, isn't that the main reason we all got into this hobby in the first place?

Thanks for the tips. I'll try and get some pictures uploaded and try and remember to take pictures as I go along - it's great to see how other people get on with their restorations.
