So this also arrived today in the mail I need to go to the LHS to get some grease and oil for the shocks and should be ready to strip the manta ray to start rebuilding.
I just hope the ESC will be able to handle the load of the upgraded/hopped-up 02H. According to the chart o nthe pack of the 02H rotor it will draw up to 140amps. at 28K rpm. The ESC is 60amp but it has a burst of 360. (certainly swaping out the tamiya plug for a T-plug(deans) or HXT 4mm bullet which I use in most of my planes. THIS--> www.hobbyking.c...00mah%202s was the pack I intent on getting but it's out of stock ATM.

I highly doubt it'll ever draw 130 amps, maybe only when it stalls. And then most ESCs will be fried anyway...
Looks from the specs it'll draw about 20A with the regular rotor, the 7010 will likely add a bit. Admittedly I'm having trouble reading the cardboard graph. It being a 2x10 turns puts it on the edge of the ESC's specs but it's more about the actual current draw anyway.

According to this they are the same. BTW the motor has two sets of mounting holes. |
