The FW07 is a beautiful looking model, so I'll be watching :-)

:woohoo: Nice!
Is it the same type of chassis than the RALT F2?

No not the same chassis as the 58018 Ralt, this is the F1 CS chassis shared by the following models; 58020 Lotus 79 and 58031 Brabham BT50.

The chassis plate and the front steering arms of the Ligier cs are quit different then the f1 CS ones.

The wire bumper looks to be identical to the original Holiday Buggy & Sand Rover item ... that's not necessarily going to make it easier/cheaper to find, but it might widen your search terms :)

I haven't seen eddrick post in a long time, so can I also say "bicycle spokes" on his behalf? ;)

I'll be interested to see how you clean up that scratched chassis plate. I have one that I need to restore as well that is badly scratched. I was hoping I could clean, polish and maybe give it a light coating of polyurethane to bring it back,

regards

Johann

Hi Johann,

I also tried on the chassis plate, a good clean and then a polish but didn't work out so good for me. So i sanded it with 1000 and 1500 and the a polish.

Result looks a bit better but not good, lucky i have founs a new one from a TC member.
@JR the wire bumper looks the same as HB one but before i sold my HB i checked but measurment are not identical. So bought some 2mm wire to make one myself.
