The Leopard arrived in all it's dirty glory
I knew it would be bad but Geez
The glue is terrible and everywhere but it's all salvageable
First step will be to remove as many of the accessories as I can then strip the paint off
I was aware it had a set of metal tracks but it came with second set also

Got to stripping off the accessories that wanted to come off
Then put it in my media blasting cabinet and spent about 30min working on the top section
Sometimes you get lucky with the type of paint the previous owners have used and sometimes you don't
The type of paint used here although ugly has actually adhered well so this is just gonna take some time
I think of it as time out and like the finish on the plastic from blasting, Really it is lightly keying the body ready for new paint

Made some great progress today managing to remove most of the accessories and side skirts before finishing media blasting the main top section, I did damaged a section on the left rear but saved the piece and have already started the repair. A lot of the accessories were attached after paint so that glue came off with the paint but all along the side skirt fixing will need a fair amount of work to clean ready to reattach.
