I have the same matter with all my old yellow cvas. On the cw01 and on the orv. Same on the clod. They are all too stiff. The only orv I had with smooth shocks was the rere mb.

Seems as long as the piston rod is good, the shock will work good as well.
All my others work really well. My Pajero lasted 13 years before it needed a rebuild and my Lunchbox is fitted with 55mm ones, they work great. Some seems overspringed, and some seems underspringed and make the dampening suit the spring rate seems to be the most hardest bit. I take the manual settings usually as an guide.

It's a runner!
Installed receiver today and everything works great! For this I selected this Techniplus transmitter. My mate in th 90s who had a Thundershot and one of the Big Bears I own now, was using Acoms in all his vehicles. So I have fond memory of using Acoms For now this is where I will leave this project for a while till I get the urge to do any bodywork. Outside it's -5C and snow and that will last a while.. Question now, should I start another MB rebuild while I'm in the ORV mood? |

-4 without snow this morning. Why don't play with your new mb in the snow?
