The (diff) gear bag's also part of the kit. Guess they considered it to be an optional setup :

Ha, yeah, him....
My Celica came with direct drive AND a diff set, rear end was ballraced, front was plastic bushed. From memory it had the same weird "How's that supposed to work then" rear axle bushes/drive/spacers as my F2 thingy. I also remember it used to like catching fire (Related to the rheostat speed controller wiring)

OK that's how the first celica got his diff.

Think I'll continue this project after I'm done with the Leo tank.

Beautiful! I think this is one of the most beautiful tamiya releases ever! Hope to make one myself out of NIP parts, Only need an other Chassis deck and a CS motormount (got the one for the 58005/5006 :P). dont really need the ugly front fender thingy.
