My laptop worked last night. Around 2 hours per rendering...

I did not made more renderings... I need to think about what next for this car. I'd like to build it, but the chassis is NIBBD (New In Box But Damaged). I could eventually try to find one NIP or try to make a new one. As per what I can see, the chassis is cut, then folded. I made the plan in CAD using metal sheet in Fusion360, so it could be easily cut. But then the question is how to fold the 2mm lexan sheet. Looking for ideas :-)

yogibear sent me the following video...
How to make a DIY acrylic bender (Cheap & easy) - YouTube
I also found that Lexan can be bent without heating it, but there is spring effect which might be difficult to manage to reach a very specific angle... At least that how my thought process starts : looking at all possible ideas and ways to work it out...

Lexan/Perspex is easy enough to bend with a heat gun or hair dryer.......  Getting the bends straight and even is the hard part

That video has a nice simple solution.

Very nice to see one of these!
It appears I had red SG Gemini wheels and tires, plus the same body shell when I bought a used RC12i in the 80's.
I always thought the body was a Porsche, but after a closer look it must have been a Schkee. See rescan of my only photo of it.

Indeed the SG Gemini has some parts compatible with Standard measurements as opposed to metric

International standard is metric. The so call imperial system is not even in use anymore in the country where it was initially thought :-)
