Looking forward to seeing some pics
I'm not familiar with the e10 ... but looking at it I think the nearest Tamiya equivalent would be the TT-01 chassis... with that in mind I think getting a significant amout of extra ground clearance isn't happening, but if there is some "droop" on the suspension (i.e. if you take the shocks off as a test & the suspension can be angled down a bit futher), then longer shocks could gain you 5-10mm. Bigger wheels might gain you a similar amount, so a rally car (rather than a true offroader) is possible. Not sure that either of the shells are that appropriate, but a with 'roo bar, lights, & sponsor decals they could look the part |

Nice one! Cool bodies too.
Didn't HPI start out as a brand making hop ups for Tamiya? Tbh, 85mm shocks sound like a lot. My semi off roader (TA01-TA02 Hummer) has 65mm front and 70mm rear... That car has longer suspension arms compared to a regular TA01. Anyway, I'm sure you'll make it a great runner! I'll be following... |

If you got the extra parts with it the motor can be swapped to the front end to make it a drift chassis.

Its got a fast metal geared servo in it, so drifts easyer with grippy tires
Drives well going to slowly upgrade parts in it Thinking of getting a cheap brushless set up for it item.mobileweb....7267505299 |
