This domain listing has been running on Ebay for a long time:


Would you pay that price as long as (for example) www.TamiyaVintageParts.com is available for anyone for just a registration fee?

It would be pretty cool to have a spare parts department on here, but I suspect you'd have to be careful what you bought for "stock" so you wouldn't get a houseful of stuff that doesn't sell.
Perhaps take special orders only, ie only order bits people want, as & when they want them?
Just thinking it might be good to have a Tamiyabase-related parts shop, more aimed at helping the collector than "making a killing being the only place to buy this item" like a lot of the other vendors. It would be good to have a parts shop run by someone who would know what the buyer is rattling on about (Without needing the proper part number etc) &/or could offer alternative parts that would "do the job"

I was actually thinking about finding a good domain listing...
This one would be too specific for the purpose though - and with more history than I'd like.
Not to mention I wouldn't consider paying that much for it...

And my bro just told me I'd also need to buy server space if I get a "better" domain name...
