Motor description:
The Technipower motor was Tamiya's first motor with an expensive 3-piece design (can, end bell and front cap). This made it rebuildable and adjustable. It featured ball bearings in both ends of the shaft and was designed for 8-minute races with battery capacity of the time in mind. Tamiya's motor does not differ from the Mabuchi one, except in part number of course. Tamiya never released info on number of turns and wire, but enthusiasts has since checked and documented. The motor was supplied as standard in: • 58054 Super Shot kit.
