This model depicts the Jägermeister-sponsored edition of the NSU TT, a race-oriented variant of the Prinz, of which nearly 2500 were built by NSU Motorenwerke AG in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The NSU TT had a 1100ccm / 1200ccm four-cylinder engine with 55 and later 65 hp. The car offered great potential for tuning measures. Renowned tuners of the 70s offered engines with up to 1300ccm. Even mechanical gasoline injections have already been installed here. The most characteristic feature of the TT over the normal Prinz versions were the distinctive twin headlights with the black stripe in between and the designation TT. The faithful and always well reproduced by Tamiya polycarbonate body is based on the popular and highly proven Tamiya M-05 chassis, which is very easy to assemble and has the well-known excellent handling characteristics.
