Many may remember picking up a new or even used Blackfoot/Monster beetle/frog/brat. Well look at the front of your chassis where it narrows just below the shock towers. Is it discolored because of stress? Two possible causes and many fixes.

1) Check for excessive play in the front suspension. Missing or poorly adjusted strut rods.
2) Lower chassis reinforcement plate? Try finding a frog skid plate or aftermarket.
3) Reinforcement rods can be mounted from back of chassis to top of front shock mount.

What ever you do to strengthen the front end will help make sure you prized possesion will last for many years to come.

P.S. Once the plastic is weak enough it will brake! I have seen this happen.
