On a Tamiya lunchbox when power is supplied throttle works but steering doesn't. You can hear it trying but won't turn wheels. I replaced the service to see if that was damaged and had the same problem. Any suggestions what this could be?
Thanks in advance. |

Is this sitting on the bench, or driving about? If the former, it might be that the drag of those big wheels is stronger than the spring in the servo saver. Lots of Tamiya RC cars need to be on the move for the wheels to "catch up" with steering inputs.

The latter. Was working fine a couple days ago too, plus put a new one in and did the same thing!

You've got all the parts of the servo saver - correct screw, thick plastic washer, bit that the steering rods connect to, spring, correct base for the servo?
