I also haven't had a problem with the pinion gear and I've been using it since the beginning.
I just recently found out about those Robinson 0.8 mod pinons and thought they were no good until I realized that I could get a reducer sleeve for it to fit on my motor. I will probably order one of those instead of a Robinson 32dp gear.
