Hi y'all,
In my quest of hopping up a Manta Ray (is it still, really?) I was searching for the info on the exact damper lengths. Seems to be the kind of info that's hard to find so TB would be the most obvious place to get that sorted. Hence this topic... Started out in another thread so here's the summary of that :

Using "..." on Google Images turned out to be a good move and I
found
this guide for assembly of a 50305 set :
Click for large picture Not that there's a straight up answer there so I'll have to read the puzzle... But I do see several piston rods options at least. |

And the sequal - Tamiya 50520 :
Gotta appreciate the fact that someone put this on line... For now it's just a reference until I figure out the parts list from the 50305 set. That one was printed in 1986 (so cars are missing) and I'm not sure about this one. Last car issued is the Super Hornet so that should be around 1993. Grasshopper II is from 1988. To be continued... |

Yep, I like subliminal messages... click on "found" - same source.
That's what it says in the manual though... Or is the later version of 50305 different? I'd need a later guide then... |

oops totally missed your second post
question for the mods, would it be possible to make it a standard setting to underline a link to a url so it is more visible like this |

I was fiddling around quite a bit with moving posts and adding new ones... sorry about that. That would be up to Lars... I'm not able to access the style settings. In this case I definitely didn't want to deny the source, although it wasn't all too relevant. Normally if I really want people to notice a link, I use bold letters. An underline would alo work of course. I kind of like the subtlety of the basic layout as it is though... |

Don't know if I understand that post exactly...
But if it means 50305 is not for a Manta Ray than I can confirm that suspicion. It's weird though that they list it in the Top Force manual. Other than that the colour (black) wouldn't match. Too bad the Manta Ray doesn't show a parts list... This is what TC states : Btw - it's not so much a topic for just the Manta Ray. That's just how I initially came to it. Trying to get all posible data on the subject together... |
