does anybody know where to find gears for these? couple of out of business hobby shop projects for cheap and I'm not finding much info anywhere/ HELP plz

Look at ta02 gears they are the same

As Flo said, the TA02 gears is the same.
The TA01 gearsets are a two piece spur, with an aluminium maingear that fits into the backside of the spurgear, and an aluminium idler gear
TA02 spur/main gear is a single piece plastic gear and the idler gear is plastic.

If you want to drive this, the all plastic gears will outlast the aluminium gears by far.
Only difference the TA02 uses ball diff.

And you can use 3 different size spur gear with the ta02 gears 

thanks for the info guys. after further searching, I have found all parts to rebuild these. The Humvee is operational, and the Blazing Star is waiting for some cvd shafts. Still running the brushed motors, Brushless upgade on the way! Thanks again.
