Unless that isn't the response you were looking for, in which case, commiserations But at least it was a "period correct" crash, it wouldn't have happened with a modern ESC

Checked it again today it looks like it might be the receiver at fault because
When I disconnect the servo horn the servo is twitching all the time
Swopped it for the steering servo and the front wheels are twitching
Will have to try another receiver or get a new one
