Looking in one of my old Tamiya Guide books (
the 1980 Guide Book
), I noticed that the door handle on the 935 is glued on the wrong way around!
Not a big mistake, but one should think Tamiya would have used a flawless model for the promotions. -Lars Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. Use normal BBcode if you want.

1987 catalogue: Bigwig chassis attacked by snakes, or something 1984 catalogue shows the Wild Willy M38 (SWB) in camo paint & the jerrycan at a jaunty angle; 1985, 1986 & 1987 show the same car but on a different surface, with the jerrycan vertical. 1983 catalogue shows a different photo from the Guide Book of the same year - it's still in black, but the headlamps are swapped round front to rear, the "decals" look hand painted, and this one has white wheels. 1979 Catalogue shows mechanics "working" on a Martini Porsche, which kind of makes sense ... and a Cheetah chassis - which really doesn't |
