i used "Tamiya museum porsche" translated to japanese and found the little red porsche. this car was the beginning of tamiya tamtech after a in house build contestthere is so much info to find if you translate your search tag to japanese and then google it. very cool

Part 1 Road to Tamiya

I will introduce the works that I kept making with the purpose of Tamiya.

5 to 20 years old

This is a work from when I was 19 years old. This is a half-sized display model of the Porsche 935 Turbo, the 1/12 electric radio-controlled car that made Tamiya famous.

Servos, transmissions, motors, batteries, etc. are all 1/2 size, plastic board dummies. Of course I don't run. At the age of 20, I received a silver prize in an in-house contest immediately after joining Tamiya. This year (1986), the 1/24 RC Car Tamtech was announced for the first time. There was some confusion about the confusion between my work displayed at the Shizuoka Hobby Show and the new product Tamtech, but it was a memorable item when Dr. Taki, who I admired, said, "Let's do it."

Wahoooo.  I'm fan of the tamtech.
