The hornet is an upgraded version of the grasshopper.
The grasshopper has a 380 type motor hard body and simple spring shocks. The hornet has a 540 motor 2 rear hydrolic shocks and a lexan body. The fixation of the gearbix is different to. The chassis is exactely the same except a small hole in the front of the chassis for the hornet body post generalysed on all chassis after the hornet released. Rear body/shocks posts are different to. And rear tires. Chovel style for the grasshopper and pin spikes for the hornet |

Many thanks. I did notice after I posted that the body mounts were missing if you were to try using the Hornet body on the Grasshopper chassis.
None of the Hornets I ever bought had any spikes left on the tyres! I think two lots makes sense then as they are not directly compatible as is (bodies and chassis) Cheers Sean |
