I got into this great hobby by first playing with toy grade RC cars and trucks years ago which migrated into where I am today with this hobby. I just picked up a Tamiya Super Hornet original and am in the process of restoring it. Came here to get ideas and maybe some connections to parts for this thing. Thanks for all your input and information on this forum.

Hey. Good to hear from someone from my home country. I was Born in Reggio Calabria but came to Canada in 1977 when I was 3 years old.

In these years are no longer returned to Italy?

No, I haven't been back. I would like to but I've lost all contact with my Mom and Dad's family from there. You have any Vintage Tamiya stuff? I just picked up a Super Hornet RTR without battery for $60.00 Canadian. Not sure if it is a good price or not.

It depends on how the model, if it is complete and in good condition I think a good price.
I prefer rough rider / sand scorcher, I am fascinated by the SRB frame.
Currently I have three now being restored, one for a Kubelwagen 1/9.

Welcome, Face. :)

I think the Super Hornet is a great car and the price sounds good to me. :y:
Maybe it's time we pick up Murdock from the asylum btw and solve some local citizen issues.

I'm lovin the A-TEAM references boys. Lovin it. The more I explore the site, the more I can't wait to get started on my re-build. I'll take some photos of the current state it's in right now and go from there.
