I got into this great hobby by first playing with toy grade RC cars and trucks years ago which migrated into where I am today with this hobby. I just picked up a Tamiya Super Hornet original and am in the process of restoring it. Came here to get ideas and maybe some connections to parts for this thing. Thanks for all your input and information on this forum.

Welcome, Face,
I hope you find what you are looking for here, and that the Vintage Tamiya Bug bites you really hard! Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. Use normal BBcode if you want.

No, I haven't been back. I would like to but I've lost all contact with my Mom and Dad's family from there. You have any Vintage Tamiya stuff? I just picked up a Super Hornet RTR without battery for $60.00 Canadian. Not sure if it is a good price or not.

It depends on how the model, if it is complete and in good condition I think a good price.
I prefer rough rider / sand scorcher, I am fascinated by the SRB frame. Currently I have three now being restored, one for a Kubelwagen 1/9. |
