Although it looks more like something Gerry Anderson imagined, Le Mille Pattes (The Centipede) is a 1972 Citroen DS based Michelin tyre test bed.
Note the 11 wheels & twin V8 engines

Nah - too many curves. I think it's possible, but first I'd have to build a vacforming rig (which I could do), and get really good at carving wood to make the bucks to form the curvy bits - that's the bit I can't see happening.

MICHELIN often used specials vehicles. They was bought by CITRÖEN.
The DS was used to make traveling(for the cinama) and often to make tow trucks. Nice potential new project Jonny |
