A couple of things to look forward to next year.
It feels like Tamiya are playing catch-up with the Escort body, but it should hopefully be done well.
And great to get a chance to get hold of the Super Champ.

Would that Escort be considered a re-release of any of the previous models or is it a totally new thing? It looks a lot different than the old Cosworth.

It says it’s on this chassis.
I know nothing about it myself.

Hi Flo, I was looking at the instruction manual on the Tamiya website last night. It seems to be adjustable for 3 different wheel bases.
It would have been nice to have it rear wheel drive, with the motor up front, like the real thing.
4wd seems like it will take the fun out of it a bit.
I read somewhere else that it sounds like the body will come pre-painted ??
So hopefully they'll do body sets that are clear.

Al, wheelebase is adjustable but the central axles are not in the box. Only the one for your body... The beetle has the long wheelebase

Hi Flo, you need a different prop shaft for each chassis length from what I understand.
Cheers.

Yes Al and not very easy to find. Small and medium length.
