As title says, just wonder what camera you use to photograph your car/truck?

For me I bought earlyer today my first expensive(ish) camera, Canon Powershot SX230HS.
It did cost around $420 in the shop here, my other cameras has been around the $85 mark..

Really looking forward to take plenty of pics later on, just have to receive my new computer first as my old one is major old and tired.

All other photos posted by my so far was by a Kodak C813 cam...

I have used the Sony Cybershot DSC-H5 for some years now.
And I am happy with it

I've never had good luck buying digital cameras ... I read reviews, try & get opinions, search around for the best deals, etc, etc, and I'm massively disappointed each ... current mistake is a Fuji finepix S8000fd "bridge" type, it wasn't particularly cheap (

Can't go wrong with Canon or Nikon, ehhh you can, but only at the cheapest one...

Funny thing when I went to the photo shop today, I haven't got a clue what to get, but I know I had to have a cam with good macro, good on general photo taking and picture stablisator.
As a bonus, this had full HD i.e 1080

And I have heard plenty of good words of both Cyber and Powershot cameras.

In the end I was torn between the SX230 wich I bought in the end, and the G12.
The G12 was around $250 more expensive and had only 720 HD.


In the end I think I made a good choise..

i use a KODAK Easyshare Z710. not regarded as one of the best cameras available but i get good results from it.
7.1 megapixel, 10 x zoom, good at close ups and video mode is great quality.
easy to use with lots of built in modes for high speed,night shots, portraits etc etc

Simple but very effective - an Olympus fe-47 :



Only thing that annoys me sometimes is the fact that there is no button to simply focus on what's centered...
Did a extensive comparitive web search and it turned out the best deal (

Minolta XE, XD5 or XD7 with Ilford B&W XP2 400 film, lenses MD 24mm, 35mm, 85mm, 135mm and 250mirror, got an autowinder too. Real vintage, fits great to my Willy M38 and Bruiser



For the digital online shots I currently use a Sony xperia mini pro.

Boys & their toys.... I'm currently using the cam on my ancient nokia 6230, seems to do the job & it works as a phone too! I was using a Canon ixus 430, but the CCD has recently bummed itself in the face. Can't go wrong with the old rusky Zenith 35mm SLR I say...

I had a Praktica SLR (from the DDR) myself ...

So did I! I might of imagined it, but I seem to remember the praktica & zenith lenses were interchangeable. Hard work getting those action shots with the manual light meter etc...
