watching RC racing on Motors TV at the moment.
they are racing F1 cars.
how the badword do they control these things at that speed???????
they are truly talented "drivers"

I think it's one of the tougher disciplines - direct RWD...
What kind of cars and motors are they running?

I just found out the IFMAR World Championship on road is coming to my country in July!
And not too far away either...

they were nitro engines, 1/10th F1 cars, 1/6th touring cars and 1/12th touring cars.
all of them blooming fast and boy do they go round corners!

Just like my F40 on the F1 chassis...
I'm sure they're using additive for grip.

They used to have a 1/12 heat when I used to go racing & for the 20-ish laps per 4 minutes we were doing with the buggies, the 1/12s were managing 70-odd. The race cars are a lot faster nowadays too, don't think my brain would work that fat any more! Sometimes watch 1/10 nitro & brushless touring cars & 1/5 trucks at Snetterton & it still gets me how they can follow them! Think we should all chip in & buy a bit of smooth tarmac somewhere.... with a pond in the middle
