So the mailman delivered today.



and I had this little baby lying around for a while now, so maybe the adjustable wheelbase of the MF01x can help me out (otherwise I had something in mind with a WW2 or Wheeler body)



More after this evening, ballbearings and oilshocks are already waiting.

Love it How's is the wheelbase, spot on? I really like those Marui Toyota bodies after re-building that 1 for a friend Any ideas on a paint scheme yet?

Paint? oh I scored a couple of cans. (and have repro decals)



Wheelbase is Ok with the alternative tires I have on, the bigger ones used on the TA SRTs are to big.

Jimny Wheelbases,

without modules: 180 mm
module 1 + 15mm
module 2 + 29mm
module 3 + 30mm

S 210 mm (mod 3)
M 225 mm (mod 1+3)
L 239 mm (mod 2+3)

that leaves, 195 (+1), 209 (+2), 224 (1+2) and 254mm (1+2+3)

Should be possible to Shapeway a module to make the chassis fit a specific length

Really multi purpose chassis Better than the classics M chassis.
